As an entrepreneur, does it often seem as though the people around you aren’t able to relate to your experiences? Does this ever make you feel lonely - especially during times when you’re working extra hours trying to build up your business?

Loneliness is a common issue among business owners. In this episode, Lorraine addresses the challenge of loneliness with an award-winning Master Certified Leadership and Life Coach, Julie Stenberg. Julie is the founder of Call to Lead Coaching, for which she serves individuals and organizations through full-suite one-to-one coaching services, online and hybrid group programs, and in-person workshops/events. Her programs are designed to address a person’s “three-legged stool,” which includes one’s personal life, physical life, and professional life. It’s Julie’s belief that all three aspects of life should be honored and developed to live in alignment and achieve deep satisfaction.

Julie shares how loneliness manifests in each “leg” of an entrepreneur’s life. She discusses how females, especially, can develop “island syndrome” and why it is so prevalent among businesswomen. She talks about how self-awareness can make a difference in how women entrepreneurs share their authentic selves. She also offers tips about how to choose the right coach based on your individual needs.
